“A beautiful villa and a fabulous week.”

Mary responded promptly to our emails and was always extremely helpful answering our questions. She met us on our arrival at the property and gave us a detailed tour. A substantial welcome pack was provided, including food, drink, maps and vouchers for local attractions. We were slightly uneasy knowing that Mary was going to be close to the villa for the duration of our stay, though these fears were completely unfounded.The villa was exactly as described. It is beautifully decorated and was extremely clean and welcoming. Our five boys loved all the different activities available - there was plenty of space for the eight of us to do whatever we wished.The location was great for us. Miralmonte is a really quiet place and we were able to sit out and relax, enjoying the peace and quiet. Marbella and Torremolinos are each around half an hour away and it was great to be within driving distance of the sea, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

“Excellent from start to finish ............a fantastic Hoiliday”

Just returned from Casa de Marbilla, 4 Adults 4 kids, ages 6 to 9. A fantastic Villa with everything catered for, from Sky TV, Pool table, Sound system for your outside music , Play Hut for the kids and more, everything we could have asked for. Kids ( Big and Small) are missing it already, highlights are the fantastic pool and and outside bar / barbecue. A truly beautiful drive down to the Coast if you fancy it, but local supermarkets and amenities only a few minutes by car The welcome and help provided by Mary were 2nd to none, a real find for a fantastic 2 weeks in the Sun.

“Amazing Holiday”

Wow what a villa! On arrival we met Mary (who is amazing) who was very enthusiastic to show us around her home. All the bedrooms were decorated to a high standard with air con which was a life saver in August when getting ready to go out. The kitchen, dining room and living room were all lovely too. As it's Mary's home there was nothing we needed and it was like living home from home. Outside had a lovely swimming pool which my daughter spent most of her day and night in. The men were entertained with the undercover pool area and the outdoor kitchen area. Mary also had a shed which housed outside towels and a Play Station which is a fab idea for teenage children. The location of the villa was great. You needed a car but we went into Alhaurin El Grande most evenings which was a 10 minute car drive where we found some lovely places to have a drink and eat. All in all this villa is a must. If my parents do not relocate to Spain next year then we as a family will be returning. Thank you Mary you must be very proud of your home

“Everything you could possibly want”

Amazing place to stay. All rooms immaculately turned, all with air con. But is still felt very homely. Our daughter who is 6 spent most of her time in the pool and playing pool. There is a shed with games console in, but we were too busy to use it, but an amaziing idea for teenagers. There are lots of toys for the kids to play with and a great range of DVDs to watch. We used the android box to watch tv and listen to music.

Mary the owner was so lovely and very helpful and full of hand hints of where to go and what to see.

Wonderfully located, relaxing in the garden and seeing beautiful mountains surrounding you was wonderful.

Will be seeing them next year.

“An excellent holiday in a lovely villa.”

We have recently returned from 2 weeks in this lovely villa. Mary the owner could not have made us more welcome. Her tour of the villa showed how proud she is of her home and rightly so. We had everything that we needed, from the PS3 that our grandson used, the pool table, the many dvd's and films that were available down to the beautiful pool. There were nine of us and the pool was large enough for us all to use it at once. The villa was well equipped for our every need. We are a family of 9, 4 of which are children ranging from 3 - 10 years old, there was plenty to keep them occupied during the hottest part of the day, when we kept them out of the sun. About a 5 min walk down the road is a restaurant which we would recommend. A car is needed as it is a rural location with shops nearby, and about 30 mins from the nearest beach. We hope to return in the future and once again would like to thank Mary for letting us use her lovely home

“Return visit worth a years wait!”

We returned to Casa de Marbilla for our holiday this year and it was well worth the wait. A few changes this year which delighted our boys, the Play Station was set up in the shed which looked impressive. Again Mary the owner welcomed us and had the essentials in for us including beer and wine. The house is immaculate and towels are supplied. The villa is really well equipped for all your needs. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and I love the fact that I have my washing done before I leave. Amazing villa. Thanks to Bill and Mary for the villa again.

August 10th to 24th 2013

We have just got home from Casa de Marbilla and are missing it already. What more can we say that hasn't already been said. Mary and Bill have an absolutely amazing villa and make you feel extremely at home. There isn't anything that they have not thought of. The garden and outside areas are very well kept and the area is very peaceful. The bar outside is a real bonus and inside is clean, fresh and very contemporary. We have had 2 weeks of pure relaxation and feel very refreshed and I only came home with one carrier bag of dirty washing, what a treat that was. We would definitely return again and have already recommended 'Casa de Marbilla' to friends for next year.

“We couldn't have asked for more.”

From the very first contact with the owners to our final day departure, the Casa de Marbilla experience was a pleasure.

The Villa owners, Bill and Mary, add a personal touch to the stay at their villa began at the booking stage and finished with a goodbye chat when the stay came to an end. In-between, both are happy to deal with any questions and Mary's tour around the villa when we arrived was friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee, milk, bread, water and other essentials were already in the kitchen when we arrived.

The pictures of the villa, on the website and Facebook, are a very accurate representation of the fantastic facilities. As Mary explained, this is a family home that is rented out for part of the year. Consequently, the level of amenities are far better than villas we've stayed in previously. Air conditioning in all but one of the main living and sleeping areas, a pool that delighted the kids and adults throughout the stay, the pool table, BBQ area, outdoor fridge, fully equipped kitchen, DVD collection, PS3 with games and controllers, pool towels, gazebo.....the list goes on and on.

The villa is about a 35 minute drive from Malaga airport and the local area has plenty of shops and restaurants. The restaurant at the end of the road is great family fun at the weekend and everyday (apart from Tuesday, when it's closed) the food is good quality pub style food at reasonable prices. The villa is ideal to relax in all day but when we did venture out the coast is easy to drive to on main roads. Also, Mijas and the lakes are worth a visit, although the drive in winding roads is more challenging.

We had a wonderful holiday in Casa de Marbilla and feel lucky to have found it.

“A little slice of Heaven.”

I have recently returned home following an amazing week at this villa, it has everything you could think of plus much more.The villa is surrounded by the breath taking scenery of the sierra mountains which is popular with cyclists and hikers.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the villa making use of the facilities such as relaxing by the pool and drinking sangria at our very own bar whilst watching the amazing sunset.

Surrounding towns such as Mijas, Marbella and Benalmadena are a stone throw away......perfect

The garden and villa has been sculptured to a very high standard and attention to detail, i would not hesitate to return.

Mary the owner greeted us at the gates, she gave us a short tour of the villa, yet very professional and was very helpful in any questions we had about the surrounding area.....first class

"What more do you want ????????"

Just returned from spending 2 amazing weeks with my family along with our friends from Lurgan, Ireland. This house and garden has everything you could wish for to spend a relaxing stay in a beautiful country. Mary was there to greet us on arrival and you could tell she was very proud of her home and no wonder. The decor, the garden, the pool, the design, the barbecue area, the air con, the bedrooms, the music systems, the pool table with flat screen TV outside, the English plug points (tons of them), the towels, the fridges, the outside furniture..................................... you get the picture :-) Oh and the Wifi........

This house gets a 10/10 from me and being honest the photo's make the place look great but it is even better in real life.

A 5 min walk down the hill to the main road you have a lovely restaurant that does some great local cuisine and Pepe the chef is a hoot.

You have many supermarkets within a 5 min drive, Marbella, Benalmadena, Malaga are all easily reached in 30 mins.

Between the 2 families we had 5 kids and they were happiest in the pool which is the focal point of the villa. I have rented in Florida before and this pool is 4X the size of the American version (there's a 1st :-)

All in I couldn't give you any negatives and if your lying by the pool with a cold beer have a look to the sky and you won't wait long till you see an eagle fly past.

If this Villa is available in the future I will return 100%.

During our 2 weeks we visited by car, Ronda, Puerto Banus, Seville, Tivoli World in Benalmadena and the rest of the time was spent at the pool. Bliss

“Amazing Villa!”

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday staying in this wonderful villa. We received a very warm welcome by Mary, the owner. The villa is beautiful inside and out and caters perfectly for a family regardless of ages. The villa is on ground level and the double back doors lead to the most wonderful outdoor space, the garden is well laid out with patio with shaded area, plenty of outside dining and relaxation, there is a good sized swimming pool with shallow and deep end, pool towels were provided, there was the most amazing bbq with sink and fridge! the outside pool table was popular with the adults and children (it even had a wall mounted TV!). There is also ample outside lighting for the evening time, the garden has the sun practically all day! the layout of the inside of the house has been well thoughtout also and tastefully decorated, internet wifi, selection of DVDs, CDs and books and children's games. The utilities were excellent also with dishwasher, washing machine and aircon throughout the house. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have asked for the villa again next year! We hired a car which I would recommend, there is a nice place to eat less than a 5min walk away and there is a good variety of supermarkets and shops within a 5min drive into Coin.

“Perfect Villa for releaxing break”

We stayed at the villa during the first two weeks of June and absolutley loved the place. The villa itself, had everything and more that you would expect from your own home and therefore ensured that all my family were able to enjoy themselves (teenagers and toddler).

The days were spent relaxing around the pool and in the garden, with plenty of shaded areas for us to help keep the little one protected from the sun. Evenings were spent around the outside bar area, cooking on the BBQ, a few games of pool till the sun went down (always very late due to the location of the villa in relation to the sun)

As the villa was so perfect we stayed around the place for most of the holiday, eating out on very few occasions. When we did we found the local restaurants very reasonable and always welcoming serving good food.

Mary could not do enough for us, making us feel most welcome, and advising us where to go to make the most out of our stay.

“Great holiday, Great weather and Great people”

The villa and location are perfect for a great relaxing holiday. Everybody loved the pool!

The little extras that were available to us made the holiday more enjoyable with small children. ie toys, car seat, cot and inflatables.

“Absolutely wonderful”

I have just returned from staying at this fabulous villa with some friends, the pictures do not do it justice. Absolutely beautiful and accommodates everything you would need for a holiday. The house is beautiful and the garden, pool and surrounding area is just divine. I cannot see anyone being disappointed with this. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to stay here. It would be great for families or just friends. I would deffintely go again. PerfectWe'll be planning a return visit very soon
